By far the best. Currently living down in Dover, Delaware and originally from Arizona, but have heard of Pats for a long time. Finally made the trip and got one. Expensive, but completely worth it! Definitely going to be making trips more often! Got an original wit wiz, regular fries and cheese fries. All amazing!!

The ONLY reason I am rating this a 4 instead of a 5 is probably no fault of their own. It was very cold, they only have outside seating, no bathroom and even though I've always believed the messier the food is the better it will taste but in this case I couldn't even eat in the car because I would've gotten cheese whiz everywhere lol. Also, the onions were very raw still.

Pat's is a famous Philly steak place. Food was great. It was filling. You won't have to worry about eating for the rest of day. Definitely worth a see.

great place here! amazing sandwhiches, clean tables. delicous here. i gave it a 4 star because of the atmosphere. one of the ladies were smoking, and there was stickers everywhere, like a middle finger one. suggested that you leg the little ones try it, but don't bring them here

A must go for all visitors to our city. That steak was very very good. Then I tried Gina's across the street.I got to say Gino's was much better because I enjoyed the thicker cuts of meat on my sandwich. A must go for all visitors. Fivestars to pats and 5 and 1/2 stars to Gino's

Ordered online a few weeks ago and they were delivered yesterday, ate them today and they were delicious. Definitely will order more!!

I like it here, excellent food & service. Nothing but pleasant experiences here. The bill was good for what you get. Wish it was closer to my house, I would come every week.

Great food! Moves super fast so be ready to order and read the instructions on how to order. Parking is hard to find but definitely worth it!

Went close to midnight. Ordered and seated within 5 minutes. Great Philly Steak Debate aside, these steaks were fire. I don't normally recommend one place over another out of the steak places (they all have a slightly different appeal), but if you're looking for a solid cheesesteak, you can't go wrong with Pat's. Somebody give these guys a raise!

A true Philadelphia staple. Can't go wrong with a wiz Whit with French fries and a coke. Open 24 hours a day in the historic Italian market in South Philly. If you haven't had one, try it.

We flew into Philly to say goodbye to my grandmother who passed at 97yrs old. It's been a few years since we had been back to the city. It was so comforting to stop in and grab a steak sandwich for THE BEST IN WORLD!! Pats thanks for being as great as I remember!!

For the best cheese steak in Philadelphia Pat's is the place to go!! Great service with a great staff!!There's a reason why Pat's is the king of steaks I highly recommend you give them a try especially people who are just visiting the Philadelphia area. You'll thank me later I guarantee it Γ°ΕΈΛΕ½Γ°ΕΈΒ€β’Γ°ΕΈΒΒΌ

Sorry, have eaten many cheesesteaks in my 50 years in the Philadelphia-area. Pat's is not the best. It's better than Geno's but that's not saying a whole lot. My hidden gem for cheesesteaks is Johnny's Pizza in Cherry Hill.

Pat's was great! The seating is all outdoor, which was a little frigid for our family, but totally tolerable today - and worth it for our delicious cheese steaks. The place is cash only, which we weren't prepared for, but we found an ATM right across the street (and later realized they was one on the back side of the restaurant!) I got a provolone "widdout", with mushrooms and peppers. Would've been delicious either way, but the mushrooms and peppers were the perfect extra - the peppers are a little sweet, a little crunchy, and totally delicious.

Only place to get a good cheesesteak during these times and its 24 hours

They're churning out a lot of steaks per day, to both tourists who are visiting the liberty Bell and to the day one locals. I have had different experiences depending on the time of day but you're always getting an authentic Philly cheese steak experience. Basically if it's too wet from oil and grease then it gets super messy but if the steak is clean cut and just the right amount of moisture get ready to have a great day in the city Γ°ΕΈΒ¦β¦

Great place! Employees could be a bit nicer but serving food is stressful. Philly classic!

To say that the food here is satisfying is an understatement, but dinner with a show? Excellent. My meal started with a lady loudly yelling at the crew making her food and saying she knows all about them and that she is 61 and they "better do the math" whatever that means, all while watching both birds and homeless battle for food shocking the unsuspecting tourists. Come for the food stay for the entertainment. Its Philly at its finest.

Had some Philly cheesesteaks delivered via Goldbelly. So, so good, but would like more cheese please.

Could use a little more seasoning. Got the extra cheese steak was good. Customer service was fast really not much interaction.

Love Pat's been coming here for a couple years now. Bread is amazing so far no other cheese steak place has their bread down like Pat's. Can even get it to go and it wont get soggy quick.. Not saying others ain't good, bec there're definitely places that are just as good cheesesteaks but they all got their own thing going for them. Pat's just is one of the better ones if not the best!

First time in Philly so I had to do the taste test: Pat's vs Geno's. I was very lucky to show up at the perfect time to get a parking spot right next to Pat's and there was virtually no line to order. I really enjoyed my Pat's steak. I think I definitely preferred the chopped steak and how they prepared the veggies. Thanks for the sub!
Kelly Aeschlimann
I have to say - the original cheese steak is the BEST. I had heard about the argument over Pats and the competitor, so my boyfriend and I ordered from both and chatted our subs. I loved the meat from Pats better and the taste was addicting. Love love love! I will be back for more at Pats next trip to Philly!

Had to come here since I am Cheese Steak Guru and this is where it started. I love the fast service, We went at lunch time and had ordered 2 of them (one wit and wiz and one without Provolone) and had them is 15 seconds! But it came at a cost of $24. Not the best Cheese steak I've had but the fastest..More of a tourist place on the way to see the Liberty Bell, But a good success story on how America was built. The pictures that are across the street are cool also.

Pat's is simply LEGENDARY. The line might look crazy long if u stop by but it does move fast. Truly the brightest star in Philly. The mushroom wit out whiz is my go too. Oh my slamming cheesy and filling for 15.00. Try it u wont be disappointed.
Brian Coughlin
The original! Fast service was made possible by having cash as the only method of payment. In the end it was delicious and consumed quickly!

Took my son to Philly to visit places and landmarks from the Rocky movies. A trip of a life time! The last day we stopped at Pats Kings of Steaks and of course like very local told us walked across the street to Geno's. I put the two Philly Cheese steaks down with out telling my son which one came from where. Pat's King of Steaks was the winner!! The steak was very tender, the bread was soft and the flavor was fantastic! I highly recommend Pat's King of Steaks but I also recommend you try both and test them yourself. Both places are the same in price $11 a Philly cheese steak. Pat's King of Steaks also has a very nice staff. We're from New Orleans and we visited the Monday after the Saints kicked the Cowboys butt. The gentleman serving us the Philly cheese steak added..... "And from all of us from Philly we THANK YOU!!" My son thought that was pretty cool. We had a Saints shirt on. Γ°ΕΈΛΒ WHO DAT!

We love Pat's!!! Once a month one of us drive to Philly and back for Pat's Famous Cheese Steak Sandwich for lunch. We have tried some other places in Philly, there good but nothing like Pat's. I know it sounds crazy taking that drive. I not even sure what makes it so good but it is. So if your near by or want to take a drive, give them a try.

I ordered through golbelly. Last year I was going to take a trip to new York and Philly. Due to health issues I could not make the trip. One thing I wanted was a cheese steak from Philly. Thank you, if not for goldbelly maybe I never would have had the opportunity to try the original and pats, you did not disappoint. This from Boise Idaho. You're the best.

Reminder standing this is not the best place in Philly to get a Cheesesteak wasn't bad next time I go there again I will definitely stop in and have another cheesesteak from these guys did a great job

Cheesesteak was amazing!!! Delicious. Service was okay. Genos lady had a smile. Hubby and I got one of each from each place.

Fabulous food! Cash onlyΓ’β¬βATM machine available. Outdoor seatingΓ’β¬βdress warm. Best in Philly!

The sandwich was mediocre at best. Meat was barely flavored just taste like beef. Bread was tough. Adding ketchup and mayo (which we had to do ourselves) was the only thing that really gave it flavor. The American cheese we got never was melted, the sandwich couldΓ’β¬β’ve been heated. The Fries were the most decent thing about this experience, warm and crunchy with a great amount of cheese. I gave them a 3 star because when I got home I doctored up the sandwich to my liking and actually was able to have it warm which it tasted way better that way (obviously). Also the lady that took my order seemed rude and like she was in a rush. Flavor and customer service needs to improve majorly, especially since people are traveling far distances for this place.

Couldn't even compare when we did the challenge. It was just overall a better cheese steak. More flavor, more meat, better texture, and far more humble than their corner rivals. We went back for seconds.

Being the spot of debate among locals over who is the original, Pat's serves some tasty food. The customer service is pleasant and friendly. Various signs "warn" visitors of messing up their order, but the actual chefs were very friendly about the matter. My cheese steak was good, a little dry near the ends but still very delicious. Additionally, the pizza fries were very good and shockingly crispy despite me letting them sit in the marinara they are served in while I dug into my steak. Overall, I enjoyed Pat's and if I'm ever back in the area, I would certainly return.

Start with the bad , don't waste your time or money on the hot dogs or fries! They are not good at all! But if you stay focus on philly cheese steak, you'll be more than happy! The taste at Pats very flavorful and distinct! The meats has tons of juice, that give that a pure satisfaction to all your taste buds a senses! Try a few others but Pats is in 1st place!

We ordered from here a week or two ago. Delivery isnΓ’β¬β’t the best way to get a cheesesteak for sure! But during this quarantine weΓ’β¬β’ll try anything! The bread was soggy, and we expected that. It was more like a soft hot dog roll, so I, not sure it would have been any better if it was hot and fresh. The meat wasnΓ’β¬β’t the quality we hoped for. We could barely find the cheese. And the flavor - blah. Sorry PatΓ’β¬β’s. Are you resting on your touristy reputation?

AMAZING!! I ordered the cheese steaks and it came instantly. One thing is that it only accepts cash. Something interesting is that it has a separate window for the cheese steaks and another for drinks and sides. Although it's a bit pricey, it is definitely worth every penny

Took a spontaneous trip to Philly with the parents today. We were between this one and Genos. Never really had many cheesesteaks, but i ordered one from here. Overall, not too bad. Taste was good and bread was good. I feel like maybe it lacked a little bit of flavor? But that could be just me. Overall good experience and fast service.

The Cheese Steak was absolutely delicious! The melted, yellow cheese combined with the warm, fresh meat makes it the best cheese steak! With a icy, cold drink..AMAZING! I recommend people going here and tasting what they have to offer!

Awesome that they were open on Sunday at 8 am because that's the only time I had to get this iconic sandwich. I should have ordered the Cheez Whiz instead of provolone. Staff was friendly and super quick!

Wonderful as always. A time honored tradition. We always stop after picking someone up from the airport
